"The experience was great, the photos are beautiful, and our expectations were exceeded."
Dan and Julie got married in a tiny elopement ceremony close to my home. They wanted some wedding photos, of course, to commemorate the occasion.
I'm so glad they found me.
I sent them a questionnaire, as I send to all of my clients, and I just loved reading their answers, and what they felt was special to them.

I really loved how they talked about nature, and camping. Loving the outdoors. I loved how in love they are. I was really excited to meet them, and felt honored to capture their day.
It's such a fun feeling to know that a couple is about to arrive in your driveway, and that you're about to capture their first special moments together as husband and wife.

I knew that they were going to be a great shoot, because I immediately brought them out back (graciously borrowed the edge of a farm field) and shot photos of them in thigh-high soybeans. The rest was history.
I always strive to find some magic in my shoots. Whether it's a fun flip of the hair, a sun flare, or something that might have been a challenge that I worked into the shoot, I love when the unexpected happens.

This monarch was such a beautiful surprise at our shoot.
With a beautiful setting, and a little imagination, this shoot was more than even I could have hoped for.
Congratulations again, Dan and Julie. You are a beautiful couple, and I cannot wait to see where your adventures take you.
